As a LED driver IC, the AP66017xx and the AP82118x can be used to drive LED lighting applications running at DC voltages of up to 20V. The AP66017xx enables AC input up to a range of 12V – 20V and can provide a maximum current of 1.5A to power the LED lights. The AP82118x features adjustable output voltage up to a range of 0V – 600V, making it suitable for driving high-power LED lamps.

The AP8802HEV2 evaluation board also includes an integrated voltage regulator and an embedded microcontroller. The voltage regulator can provide a stable DC voltage for the LED driver ICs and the microcontroller can perform various tasks, such as temperature sensing and controlling the brightness of the LEDs.
