Working Principle

The APEK3992SLP-01-T-DK evaluation board is based on the Flexible System Design module architecture provided by APEK®. The complete system is powered by the SparX™ System on Module which packs in Intel® Atom™ processor E640. This processor is supported by DDR2 SDRAM and ROM. The Flexible System Design concept was developed to provide a high performance system architecture which is reliable, low cost and easy to use.The APEK3992SLP-01-T-DK evaluation board integrates a flexible system design with a modern platform which includes a rich set of features such as: an onboard Ethernet port with 1000Mbps Ethernet controller, four SATA ports, four USB ports, and a selection of digital and analog I/O interfaces including UART, CAN bus, GPIO, SPI, and I2C.In addition to these hardware features, the evaluation board is also equipped with a comprehensive software platform which offers support for a real-time operating system, development environment, and utilities for programming, testing, and debugging.
