It contains a fuse which will blow if the load current exceeds a preset limit, and also contains alarm outputs which will signal if the fuse has blown and/or if a malfunction occurs. Additionally, the AQY412EHAX is equipped with a built-in surge-suppression diode that will protect the load from transient voltages.
