Introduction

Working Principle

In this situation, the switch is closed and the inductor is connected across the input voltage, building up a stored magnetic field. When the switch opens, the magnetic field stored in the inductor collapses and causes a current to flow through the output, resulting in a voltage across the inductor that is higher than the input voltage. In addition, the Buck-Boost converter is able to maintain the output voltage to be stable despite the changes in input voltage by employing the feedback loop and PWM technology.
