Introduction

AS3658C is an Application Specific Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC) that is designed to provide a complete power management solution for many different applications. Working Principle

The AS3658C PMIC works by combining a series of analog and digital components to achieve a power management solution. Firstly, the PMIC contains an internal oscillator, which is responsible for producing an internal clock signal which is used to control the timing of power management operations. This internal clock can be either aperiodic or regular, and is configurable depending on the application.The AS3658C PMIC also contains four integrated output stages, which are responsible for generating the output voltage necessary for the application being powered. Each output stage is enabled by one of the internal oscillator’s clock edges, and can be programmed to output different voltages.
