AS3693A-ZTQT is a multi-channel LED driver IC (Integrated Circuit) designed for driving LEDs in a constant current application. It provides up to 6 independent channels with an adjustable output current that reaches up to 15mA per channel with a maximum current error margin of ±10%.

Application Field:

AS3693A-ZTQT can be used in applications such as festoon lamps, indicator displays, interior decorate lights, automotive rear-view mirrors, security system modules, appliance lighting, and other lighting applications. The device comes in temperature range from –40℃ to +85℃, packaged in an 8-pin SOIC or 8-pin TSSOP.

Working Principle:

AS3693A-ZTQT is built around an internal current regulator that constantly and accurately maintains the LED current at the set level. The current setting can be adjusted by means of two resistors, one for the reference input and one for the amplitude control of the error amplifier. The current regulator is based on a linear current control loop with hysteretic modulation, and it supports both single and dual LED configurations. In addition, it provides four extra control and guiding signals, such as LEDC0 and LEDC1.

Apart from the current regulator feature, AS3693A-ZTQT can also provide voltage control, two independant voltage-controlled dimmer, 1kHz switching frequency and active flicker mitigation. It also includes thermal protection feature for safety for over-temperature protection and low-voltage lockout. The device is also RoHS compliant, which means it is free of hazardous substances and is safe for the environment.
