The AS5048B-HTSP-500 then calculates the angular position of the rotating disk by subtracting the voltage of one Hall Cell from the voltage of the other.

The AS5048B-HTSP-500 has an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, and is provided in an SMD-16 package with a separate connector for easy integration into any application. The device also includes overcurrent protection, output peak current limiting protection, and a reverse polarity protection. It also features improved EMC performance for reliable operation in noisy environments.
