ASB2 stands for Automatic Spring-Force (ASF) Blocks, and is a type of terminal blocks used in industrial applications and controls. ASB2 has the ability to combine multiple terminals in a single unit, and is also called a control block or system block. The primary purpose of ASB2 is to provide a safe and efficient system for wiring, and the power and control components.
The ASB2 is divided into three distinct sections; the Din Rail, Channel, and Fasteners. The Din Rail is the main part of the system and is used to mount the ASB2 Power Blocks, Control Blocks, and other components. The Channel is the area of the system where two sets of signals can be connected with each other and is used to attach multiple blocks, and the Fasteners are the small screws that are used to secure the blocks to the Din Rail.
The main working principle behind ASB2 is composed of two components; the terminals and the connectors. The Terminals are metal plates with contacts that are stamped directly onto them and are used for making the connection between the modules. The Terminal Blocks have slots that are designed to fit specific connectors. The Connectors are the electrical wiring components that are used to connect the different modules together. The connectors consist of two types of connectors; Standard and Power.
The Standard Connectors consist of a head and a male side and is used to connect the control blocks and devices to the power lines. The Power Connectors are designed with a head and a female side and is used for power distribution between devices and components. The Power Connectors also have two different types; Lock-on and Push-On.
The Lock-on Connectors are used to secure the power block in place and the Push-On Connectors are used to quickly switch off and on the power. The Lock-on Connectors also have an integral surge protection circuit which prevents any over-voltage or over-current from damaging the device or system. Additionally, the ASB2 also has the ability to directly interface with external power sources (AC or DC), which enables the user to easily switch the power to different devices and components.
The ASB2 system is considered to be the safest and most reliable type of terminal block available, and is used widely in industrial applications. The system is easy to use, has a robust design, and is extremely reliable. Due to its high performance and reliability, the ASB2 is often the choice of industries which require a low cost system which can provide a safe, robust, and reliable connection between the power, control, and other electrical components.
