ASB2 stands for Automatic Spring-Force (ASF) Blocks, and is a type of terminal blocks used in industrial applications and controls. ASB2 has the ability to combine multiple terminals in a single unit, and is also called a control block or system block. The primary purpose of ASB2 is to provide a safe and efficient system for wiring, and the power and control components.

The ASB2 is divided into three distinct sections; the Din Rail, Channel, and Fasteners. The Din Rail is the main part of the system and is used to mount the ASB2 Power Blocks, Control Blocks, and other components. The Channel is the area of the system where two sets of signals can be connected with each other and is used to attach multiple blocks, and the Fasteners are the small screws that are used to secure the blocks to the Din Rail.
