The AT17C010A-10PI configuration prom is a small, low-cost, one-time programmable memory component designed for the storage of field-programmable gate array (FPGA) configuration data. The configuration memory provides a defined, time-limited operation of the FPGA when the component is powered-on and simplifies the system design process by incorporating the logic of a design into the FPGA at system start-up.

The AT17C010A-10PI configuration memory contains 1K bit of nonvolatile Flash-based memory data that can be programmed with the FPGA configuration by utilizing a high-speed parallel connection. Specifically, the AT17C010A-10PI includes 10 address pins, 10 data pins and one chip select pin along with a low voltage programmable interface (LVPI). All necessary pins of the flash memory are accessible through the 0.100 inch section of the component.
