.AT17C128-10NC is an automatic block writing 16Kx8 bits Non-Volatile static RAM configuration prom, which is specialized for configuring and programming field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs). The FPGAs applications include high speed image processing, machine vision, data routing of communications networks and digital video and audio systems.SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) is a versatile interface and is the industry standard serial bus supported by a wide range of FPGA families, such as Xilinx, Altera and Actel. AT17C128-10NC is, in this respect, ideal for use with a variety of FPGA families in a wide range of applications.
AT17C128-10NC consists of power source, Memory Core, Address Latch Enable Circuit, Data Out circuit and software write enable circuit. Power source provides the power for FPGA to work, and the main power voltage for AT17C128-10NC is 3.3v. Memory Core is the heart of AT17C128-10NC, and it is designed to process writing, reading and erasing instructions accurately. Address Latch Enable Circuit is used to store the columns of data written in the memory for a period of time and then outputting data when the FPGA needs it. Data Out Circuit redistributes the 16Kx8 bits of data and reproduces the data read in a series pattern. Software write enable Circuit is responsible for the process to write information into the register and then store the data into the FPGA chip.
