AT17LV002A-10JC is a Configuration Proms for FPGAs model implementation. It is designed for use in field programmable gate array (FPGA) applications where reliable startup, secure operation and easy to use solutions are required. It provides versatility, improved reliability and secure operation in field applications.
AT17LV002A-10JC Configuration Proms for FPGAs offers up to 16-megabit of non-volatile memory for configuring FPGAs, with supporting features such as robust configuration checksums, advanced mode control and industry-standard device programming interfaces. The Proms can also be used to store and access frequently-configured bitstreams, those required for reprogramming, or to store user data, such as process parameters.
AT17LV002A-10JC Proms offer a configuration data space of 16 megabits and incorporates two write protect (WP) pins. It is available in a 32-pin, 200-mil SOIC or 40-pin PLCC packages up to industrial-extended temperatures. The device is also design to meet industry-standard device layout and pinouts for compatibility across FPGA platforms.

Working Principle of AT17LV002A-10JC
AT17LV002A-10JC simplifies system design by providing an on-card serial programming interface compatible with industry-standard FPGA device programming algorithms. Read/write access is provided on the serial programming bus to the entire configuration space of the AT17LV002A-10JC for both programming and reprogramming as needed. The entire programming process is ideally suited for automated product testing operations.
In addition, UP17 security provides additional security to the FPGA bitstream by authenticating at startup the validity of the stored FPGA configuration. It also prevents unintended usage or modification of the configuration data. UP17 security includes advanced ECC and configuration bit manipulation (CBM) to protect against malicious attacks and software configuration errors.
AT17LV002A-10JC Proms operate with an exceptionally low power consumption due to advanced operating modes and power management techniques. It eliminates wait states in configuration cycles and can further reduce power consumption during normal operation. It is ideal for FPGA applications that require long battery life or operate with limited thermal dissipation.
