AT17LV512-10CC Application Field and Working Principle

AT17LV512-10CC is a Configuration Proms for Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), specifically designed to provide fuse programmable nonvolatile programmability, power failures or other outside terrestrial or extra-terrestrial interference. It is a dual-power device which has two power supplies, namely a 3.3V and 5V supply. This Configuration Proms has an industry-standard 10-pin dual in-line package with leads compatible with lead-free assembly methods. Its main purpose is to provide low voltage, nonvolatile programming for FPGAs and its applications.

The Working Principle of AT17LV512-10CC

The main principle behind the operation of AT17LV512-10CC is that it is designed to store data in its nonvolatile memory (NVM). This NVM is a single, high-performance memory array with a storage capacity of up to 512-bits for a single access. The data stored in the NVM can be programmed, or changed, through the programming cycle by implementing an appropriate programming voltage and the instructions or addresses given to the NVM.

When the power is applied to the AT17LV512-10CC device, the NVM is initialized.
