This unit is an integrated circuit that holds the configuration data and is required to operate the target FPGA.The AT17LV512-10SI is a 512-KBit non-volatile Memory Configuration PROM. It is designed as an electrical replacement for FPGAs and CPLDs with a flash serial interface. It is manufactured using a 16-Mb flash technology available in 65nm process. This device is designed with integrated write control, ECC (error-correction code) and 3-stage voltage protection features to allow for flexible operation and protection against unexpected power loss.It is the primary configuration memory device for Altera FPGAs.
