AT24CS16-STUM-T is a serial EEPROM (Electrically-Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory). EEPROMs provides non-volatile, random access memory that can store data even when the power is switched off. The AT24CS16-STUM-T is an I2C compatible EEPROM chip, developed and produced by Atmel Corporation. It can be mounted directly on a PCB, or mounted in an IC socket for ease-of-use.

The AT24CS16-STUM-T has a 16KB memory capacity, with a page write capability of 32 bytes. This means data can be written a byte at a time, or two bytes at a time.
