The AT42QT1060-MMUR is a single channel capacitive touch sensor designed to detect variation of capacitance due to a human finger (or stylus). It is Integrated with a Microcontroller Unit (MCU) and it can be used with a wide range of materials, such as glass and plastics, for proximity and touch sensing applications. The AT42QT1060-MMUR can detect when no capacitance is present, it can detect when the capacitance is present and it can detect the change in capacitance when the finger is moving on the sensing surface. It is a low cost, low power, high performance capacitive touch controller.
The AT42QT1060-MMUR is an integrated circuit which consists of several components, such as oscillators, analog front end, low-noise amplifier and filters, capacitive touch channels, electrodes, and detection algorithm. The oscillators are used for the modulation and demodulation of the signal, and for synchronizing the data acquisition.
