The AT91SAM9M11-CU is a high-performance, low-power embedded microprocessor (MPU). It is part of the AT91SAM9M family of microprocessors, developed by Atmel Corporation, one of the major manufacturers of embedded microprocessors. In terms of memory, the AT91SAM9M11-CU includes up to 16 Kbytes of RAM and 256 Kbytes of flash memory. The board also supports 3-2-3 reset circuitry, watchdog timer and systems on-chip monitoring. For power management, it features four system power modes, including a low-power deep-sleep mode, to reduce total system power consumption.

In terms of performance and flexibility, the AT91SAM9M11-CU can be used in variety of applications since it offers a wide range of integrated peripherals and low-power operation modes.
