ATA2069-TAQY is a specialized Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC). It is designed to provide multi-channel drive capabilities for medical imaging electronics products or other applications where high voltage, high current drive is needed. The ATA2069-TAQY combines an analog, high voltage, high current drive stage with a Power Management System designed by TI. The system contains two channels and is designed to be used in combination with other advanced On-Board Power Supply (OBPs) products, such as FET switches, MOSFETs, and super capacitors, to deliver high-performance power management solutions.
The ATA2069-TAQY operates up to a maximum input voltage of +62 V and a minimum output voltage of +2.0 V. It handles currents up to 4 A and powers up to three motors simultaneously. The ATA2069-TAQY is designed to operate in harsh environmental conditions. It features a temperature range from -40 to +85 °C and features thermal protection, over-current protection, and over-voltage protection.
The ATA2069-TAQY provides two synchronization lines, one open-drain line, and two enable/disable pins, allowing the user to independently configure each channel as a current source or as a sink. The channel enable or disable pins can be used to manually control when power is applied to the controlled output. With the addition of a second enable/disable pin, users can also use the ATA2069-TAQY to control the power state of individual channels.
