Balun is an acronym for Balanced Unbalanced and is commonly used in high-frequency signal transmission. Baluns are typically used to transfer balanced signals, such as those found in VHF/UHF radios or Broadband cable systems, into unbalanced signals, such as downstream RF signals. The ATB2012-50011M Balun is a RF signal transfer device that is designed to operate in the 2.4 GHz to 5.8 GHz frequency range.

The ATB2012-50011M Balun is designed to receive balanced signals from the radio and then convert it to an unbalanced signal for transmission. The ATB2012-50011M features two ports with inputs per port (2 Ports/2 Inputs) with a pin configuration, the pinout method being Vertical/Out.
