ATMEGA165-16MI is a powerful, high-speed and low-cost microcontroller which is a typical member of the ATMEGA series microcontroller produced by Atmel Corporation. It is mainly used in digital consumer products, household appliances, consumer power supplies and other embedded digital media applications.The main feature of ATMEGA165-16MI is that it is a high-speed 8-bit microcontroller, AVR core-based, 16KB in-system programmable Flash and 16KB on-chip RAM. It also has a wide range of internal and external peripherals and features, including a 16-bit advanced timer/counter, and up to 32 I/O pins. In addition, it supports a wide variety of communication interfaces and analog features, including 8-channel 10-bit A/D converters, via-configurable QADCs, and up to six timers for driving high-performance peripherals.ATMEGA165-16MI includes integrated system control, advanced timer/counter and serial communications options, the on-chip system clock generator and analog control functions, and supports a wide variety of interrupt sources. Its device has a programmable self-programming feature, so it can be updated and personalized with new functions. It is suitable for applications that require high performance and cost-effective solutions. It has an Instruction Cycle Time ranging from 1.75 to 0.2µs. Programming is also quite easy with an AVR core. It generally consists of an assembler, a machine language coding language, and an editor. The instruction set consists of 32 instructions including 8 arithmetic and 8 logic commands, 8 jumps and 8 bit-manipulation routines.
