The ATN3580-05 is a low cost 0.18 μm CMOS RF wave attenuator which is used for applications such as High-Q active apodization of transceiver-based RF signal, multiband radio transmitters, ultra-low power transceiver and balanced RF transmission line. It is an integrated BiCMOS RF attenuator connected by a shielded cable, and operates in both linear and logarithmic mode.

The ATN3580-05 features a low insertion loss and a wide dynamic range of about 370 dB over a frequency range of 20 – 500 MHz. It also has an excellent linearity and low noise. Thanks to its efficient switching and fast settling time, the ATN3580-05 attenuator can quickly switch from one frequency to the other with minimal distortion.
