AWLP-10/3.2-T-R is a type of board-in, direct wire to board, rectangular connector, manufactured by Souriau. It is most suitable for use in harsh industrial environments where extreme heat, humidity and vibration need to be successfully negotiated for a reliable connection.Application FieldThis type of connector is suitable for use in a range of industrial, medical and aerospace applications including motor control, power control, transfer assemblies and control systems. The AWLP-10/3.2-T-R has wide operating temperature range of -45 to 85°C, good sealing capability and offers excellent resistance to corrosion and abrasion.Working PrincipleThe AWLP-10/3.2-T-R uses a single-port design that offers superior low power dissipation and cooling capability. The design includes a range of different moulded shells that allow it to be mounted in different applications. It also includes a range of metal inserts and crimp contacts which ensure a secure connection. This connector has an integrated cable locking device which prevents its rotation or accidental removal. This locking mechanism is also designed to provide resistance to turning forces, as well as vibration. The AWLP-10/3.2-T-R also includes a range of high-temperature elastomers which ensure a high degree of insulation. These materials are resistant to vibration, heat, cold, abrasion and water. A range of accessories including backshells, glands and cable clamps are also available to further enhance the performance and usability of the connector. In conclusion, the AWLP-10/3.2-T-R is a high-performance, board-in, direct wire to board, rectangular connector which is suitable for use in the most demanding applications. It offers excellent insulation, vibration and temperature resistance, and offers an integrated locking mechanism for added security.
