AXT124154s are rectangular connectors specifically classified in Arrays, Edge Type, Mezzanine (Board to Board). Developed from Densi’s original product line, these high performance mezzanine connectors offer maximum flexibility for high speed and high density applications. The AXT124154 is available in two versions: a full-length mezzanine module adjustable in height and a half-length module with space saving features. The full-length version has a stackable, adjustable mezzanine pin array that can be easily reconfigured to meet any space restraints. An additional feature of the full-length version of the AXT124154 is the use of an external crimp for improved flexibility when mounting the device. The AXT124154 connectors have 8 high-speed data channels and are rated at up to 5 Gbps. They are available in three different sizes, namely 0.4mm, 0.6mm and 0.9mm, and in either a top or bottom hah. Connectors can be stacked up to 6 high and use a staggered, trapezoidal array of pins which allow for better mechanical misalignment and cable strain relief. This sliding pin array is designed to reduce parasitic inductance, minimize crosstalk and improve EMI performance.
