Electric Double Layer Capacitors (EDLC) or more commonly known as Supercapacitors, are becoming increasingly popular in many applications due to their ability to store significantly more energy and deliver power quickly compared with traditional capacitors. While traditional capacitors use an electric field to store energy, EDLCs use a combination of electric fields and electrochemical reactions to store energy. The B0820-2R5225-R is an example of an EDLC.

The B0820-2R5225-R is a wide range of EDLCs with a capacitance range of 27uF to 47uF.
