B9C002 is an integration IC designed by the US company EOS. It integrates enhanced monitoring, switching, protection and bootstrap functions, and integrates separate analog and digital controllers. It solves the problems of low controller efficiency and difficult microcontroller programming.

Algorithms such as pulse width modulation (PWM) clock, analog control and real-time monitoring are friendly to testing and excellent in performance. Its applications include motor controlling, LED dimming, LED lighting, linear dimming, automotive dimming, battery charging and solar energy management.

Working principles

B9C002 is mainly based on three parts. The first part is the analog power switch. It provides buck converter with low switching frequency, such as 10KHz, 20KHz and 30KHz. The second part is digital control block. It consists of microcontroller and RAM memory. It contains a current safety program and a smart startup program. The third part is the reflection. It contains a voltage regulation circuit for accurate proportional control.

The B9C002 chip is provided with two switching modes. In the first mode, the integrated controller is responsible for generating PWM signals and providing basic protection for components.
