BAV103 L1G Application Field and Working Principle

Introduction

BAV103L1G is a single-piece, low-power rectifier diode released by NXP Semiconductors. It has a maximum forward current of 0.5 A peak (less than 0.4 A continuous), a maximum reverse current of 10 μA and a maximum repetitive reverse voltage of 30 V. Its standard package is SOT-23. This diode can be used in a wide range of applications related to rectification and protection.

Application

BAV103L1G diode is most commonly used as a rectifier in AC/DC converters. In general, a rectifier is an electric device made of diodes for converting AC voltage to DC voltage. This type of diode is used to realize the switching process of rectification, allowing the flow of rectified current with the highest efficiency.
