RF transceiver ICs is an important technology in modern communication industry. BC419143B-ANN-E4, a member of the BC419143 family of transceiver ICs, is a new generation of intelligent 2.4GHz RF transceiver designed for low power and low cost wireless monitoring applications. This transceiver is ideal for the short range, low power IoT applications like home and building control.

BC419143B-ANN-E4 is a 6 to 24GHz RF transceiver. It has 6 input channels and 2 output channels, providing a total capacity of 6.2 Gigabits per second. It also supports multiple modulation, coding and equalization techniques. It can work in digital communication modes such as GMSK, BPSK, QPSK, and Barker coding. With its power efficient design, it supports 802.11a and 802.11b/g systems.

BC419143B-ANN-E4 features a low power consumption and high sensitivity receiver. The transmit power is adjustable and the RF output power is up to 22dBm. It also supports diversity antenna selection, increasing its performace in multi-path fading environments. It has a built-in adaptive frequency hopping mechanism which enables it to detect and avoid interference and jamming signals in the communication environment. Other features include packet error correction, aggregate throughput, frame aggregation and other wireless networking protocols.

The working principle of BC419143B-ANN-E4 is base on operating frequency shifting and modulation of the RF signals. In transmit mode, digital signals given by the control circuit is modulated, based on the modulation scheme, and then output in the appropriate RF frequency range through the RF antenna. The received signal is demodulated to base band signal and processed by control circuit to generate digital signals. The advantage of frequency shifting is its good rejection performance against interference and jamming.
