Evaluation and Demonstration Boards and Kits are specialized piece of hardware used in electronic design. One specificBoard and Kit, theBD6212FP-EVAL-N, is specifically designed for dual-motor, Motion and Position Control applications.

The BD6212FP-EVAL-N demonstration board is based on an NXP Power Architecture® 32-bit microcontroller. Specifically, it can support certain S32K11x, S32K14x, and S32K14XS microcontrollers. The board provides all the necessary functionality and hardware interfaces for dual-axis motor control. It also includes all the circuitry for dead-time compensation in a 6-switch configuration and incorporates an isolated power supply. This makes it ideal for applications such as automotive body controls, steering systems, communications equipment, robotics, surveillance systems, and machinery automation with required features such as real-time control.

The BD6212FP-EVAL-N board also incorporates an on-board debugging interface.
