The BD9131MUV-E2 is a high performance and cost-competitive PWM switching regulator IC with overcurrent protection and thermal protection. When configured as a boost converter the device is capable of operating with an input voltage range between 1.3V to 16V and can deliver up to 1.5A of output current at a fixed output voltage. This makes the BD9131MUV-E2 a versatile solution for various application scenarios.In order to achieve the desired output voltage, the device can be programmed with an external resistor or via an I2C interface. In addition, the device includes several protection features such as Current Limit, Internal Thermal Shutdown, Overvoltage Protection (OVP), Under-Voltage Lock-Out (UVLO) and Reverse Current Protection (RCP). The BD9131MUV-E2 also supports adjustable Soft-Start and the output voltage level can be adjusted in Fine or Coarse mode. The BD9131MUV-E2 can also be easily configured to work in a dual mode output configuration with a single device. This allows it to provide two separately regulated outputs with a single device. This feature is particularly useful when space is at a premium or multiple voltage rails are desired.The BD9131MUV-E2 is a cost-effective and highly efficient DC to DC converter solution for various applications.
