Working Principle

The BD91361MUV-E2 DC-DC switching regulator operates around an input voltage range of 0.5V to 6V and provides a constant output voltage from 0.6V to 5.3V. The device architecture is as follows:

  4. Thermal shutdown

The power MOSFET switch regulates the output voltage. The duty cycle of the switch is determined by the difference between input voltage and output voltage. The BD91361MUV-E2 is ready for async and sync switching applications. In addition, the user can integrate either an external synchronous modified frequency operation or internal PFM/PWM operation to reduce switching losses. External synchronization is also supported in PWM/PFM mode.

Richtek keeps extended temperature ranges (from -40°C to +125°C) for environments from industrial to automotive applications.
