BD9E101FJ-EVK-001 is an evaluation board designed to demonstrate the performance of the BD9E101FJ Offline Quasi-Resonant current mode PWM controller IC. This evaluation board is categorized under Evaluation Boards - DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS.

The BD9E101FJ-EVK-001 is ideal for applications where high efficiency and low standby power is required, such as LED lightings, AC/DC adapters, Batter chargers, and more. It is a high-performance, cost effective solution for all kinds of offline power supplies with multiple output channels.

The BD9E101FJ-EVK-001 includes the BD9E101FJ IC and all the required components necessary for generating multiple output voltages from a single input voltage ranging from 90VAC to 305VAC. The board also includes a standard LED status indicator and fan control output. The 5V standby output voltage is within 3V of the main output voltage for low standby power requirements.

The BD9E101FJ-EVK-001 uses a Quasi-Resonant current mode PWM control system for regulating the output voltage. It has a minimum off-time compensation and edge/slope compensation, providing superior performance over conventional designs. It also features a wide VREF voltage range and pulse-by-pulse over-current protection, making it robust for different power designs. With high voltage start-up and low external component count, it provides an economical solution for multiple output design.

The BD9E101FJ-EVK-001 features frequency foldback, line feedforward, and adjustable input under-voltage lockout to enhance the performance of the power supply. Its Soft Start and remote ON/OFF options ensure reliable start-up and soft power sequencing functions. Furthermore, it has an integrated function to monitor the temperature of the internal MOSFETs for a safe and reliable system operation.
