Working Principle

The principle of BDTL25 Disconnect Switch is based on manual control mechanism. When the handle at the top of the Disconnect Switch is in the "off" position, the inner contact of the Disconnect Switch is disconnected from the external contact, thus the switching off of the main circuit and the load is accomplished. When it is in "on" position, the inner contact is connected to the external contact, thus allowing current to flow through the main circuit.

When the current in the main circuit is over the setting value of the fuse, the fuse wire is fused and the broken point on fuse wire is disconnected from the external contact of the Disconnect Switch, thus the switching off of the main circuit and the load is accomplished.
