Working principle

When a current flows through a circuit, an electric current is set up in the the BFC247990021 capacitor, generating a potential difference between the two electrodes. As the capacitor charges, the current decreases, and eventually all the current is diverted to the capacitor, and the voltage across the capacitor rises.
