The BGF802-20,127 is a type of radio frequency amplifier (RF amplifier) designed to amplify extremely low-level signals. The BGF802-20,127 is also an important component in FPV (First Person View) systems used in drones and UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles).The BGF802-20,127 is a narrowband amplifer, with a specified bandwidth of up to 127MHz. It is designed to provide a maximum gain of 23 dB, with a minimum noise figure of 1.6 dB and an input/output return loss of better than 6 dB. It offers excellent linearity performance at low levels of input power, and is capable of handling a wide range of input powers from -15 dBm to +35 dBm. In operation, the BGF802-20,127 uses an input pre-stage with programs, a two stage amplifier, an output post-stage with lost filtering, and an inputRFI protection circuit. The two stages of the RF amplifier are composed of a P-channel enhancement-mode metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor (P-MOSFET). The transistor is biased into its active region, and provides the main gain stage. The output post-stage filter is designed to reduce out-of-band noise, and to reduce signal crosstalk.The input pre-stage uses an interdigital capacitor to match the input from the antenna to the amplifier. This capacitor is a key element in the overall efficiency of the amplifier. The input pre-stage of the BGF802-20,127 also provides protection for the amplifier from common mode or differential mode signal over-stress.The BGF802-20,127 is a popular choice in many different types of applications due to its excellent signal-to-noise ratio, low power consumption, small size, and excellent linearity performance.
