The BMI055-SHUTL is an evaluation board for the Bosch BMI055 6-axis multi-axis motion sensor. It provides two separate interfaces – a 3-axis 12-bit digital output for acceleration and a 3-axis 16-bit digital output for angular rate measurements, both on a 14-bit SPI bus. The board also features several built-in components, such as a modulated low-power radiofrequency (RF), a 3.3V linear voltage regulator, and a temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO). The design also references the motion sensor’s I2C bus, which can be used for passive current-sensing applications.The BMI055-SHUTL is designed to measure acceleration, gyroscope, and magnetics in a microgravity environment for applications such as space missions, micro-gravity experiments, and robotics. As such, the board allows the user to experiment with the BMI055\'s many features, including its I2C, SPI, and UART interfaces.
