BQ51051BYFPT is an advanced power management integrated circuit (PMIC) designed to control the efficient and safe charging of Li-ion and Li-ion polymer batteries from 1 cell to 6 cells. BQ51051BYFPT integrates several protection functions to prevent overcharging, overheating, current limit, and short protection, making it ideal for mobile phones, tablets, and other portable electronic devices.

The BQ51051BYFPT supports three different types of charging; constant current mode, constant voltage mode, and trickle charging. It also provides PTC battery temperature monitoring, reverse current protection, and voltage enable control.
