BRKT-STBC-AGM01 is an evaluation board for motion sensors. This board includes a 3-axis accelerometer and single-axis gyroscope to facilitate the development of systems based on the Panasonic MMA7660FC 3-axis low-power accelerometer and STMicroelectronics MEMS-based single-axis angular rate gyroscope, L3GD20H. It also comes with a barometric pressure sensor, a MEMS capacitive pressure sensing element BMP280, for measuring barometric pressure over a wide range of application.This evaluation board is designed to measure accelerations, tilt, angular rate and barometric pressure for both consumer and industrial applications, such as mobile phones, PDAs, robots, and plant protection systems. In addition, the board can also be used for tilt measurements in navigation systems or for monitoring vibration in machines.The board is designed such that it can be hooked up to a 5 V power supply directly and it can also be powered through a 3.3 V to 5 V regulator. The board comes with two analog ORT (Open Runner To Sensor) pins and one digital ORT pin, which connects the accelerometer and gyroscope to the board. The ORT pins provide the physical connection and communication between the board and the sensors. The board also has two logic pins, which can be used to control the supply voltage of the sensors.The board comes with the Panasonic MMA7660FC 3-axis low-power embedded accelerometer, which measures linear acceleration in three orthogonal axes.
