PMIC (Power Management IC) refers to a dedicated integrated computer chip edsigned to control, monitor, and regulate the power use of an electronic device or a system. It contains solid-state electrical power switches, voltage regulators, voltage-monitoring circuits, clock generators and other related functions. Supervisors are a special type of PMIC which provides circuit reset and power supply supervision functions along with other features.
