This device has a built-in Hall-voltage generator, temperature-compensated Schmitt Trigger and constant-current source with Overtemperature Protection.

Application Field of BU52061NVX-TR

This solid-state Hall switch finds primary applications in the fields of battery protection and user detection, as it offers improved performance and reliability over mechanical switches. The thermal range of the device is -40°C to 85°C, making it well-suited for operating in various environmental conditions.The device provides a battery protection function for when the detecting voltage after passing through the current source reaches the switch-on threshold voltage. Working Principle of BU52061NVX-TR

When a magnetic field is present around the solid-state switch, the Hall voltage is generated, which is amplified and output from the Schmitt-trigger circuit. The BU52061NVX-TR features low-power and low-voltage consuming characteristics with low-offset Schmitt-trigger circuit. With Overtemperature Protection, the robust Hall switch is suitable for use in various applications, including front-panel protection switches, DC/DC and AC/DC converters, chargers, LED failure detection, and overcurrent protected power supplies.The device has an integrated constant current source which converts the Hall voltage into proportional current for reliable switch detecting. The detecting current can exceed 10 mA and is much higher than the current produced in a conventional Hall element. This improvement in detecting current also reduces the influence of the environment (magnetism, noise, temperature) on switch operation.
