The BXA3K snap action limit switch operates between -40 and 70 degrees Celsius, and offers a variety of termination, contact and head actuation options to meet customer requirements. In addition, the BXA3K is designed with a manual override feature that allows the user to manually disconnect or engage the switch. The manually operated override can be switched back onto automatic operation, if desired, at any time.

The internal mechanical design of the BXA3K Series limit switch consists of a cam, helical gear and lever system. When the lever is actuated by a physical force, the cam rotates, which causes the gear to move. This motion subsequently causes the contacts to open or close.

The contact ratings of the BXA3K limit switch range from 24V~/3A to 240V~/20A, and they can be provided with up to 4 normally open and 1 normally closed contacts in normally open and normally closed modes.

The BXA3K limit switch is designed to provide a reliable and safe operation in any environment where secure switching is required. It is designed with a silicone rubber overmolded boot, which makes itresistant to dust and water, and it meets UL1604 and CSA 22.2 No 14 for use in hazardous locations.
