The BYM12-150HE3_A/H is a rectifier diode intended for use as an efficient alternative to discrete components or packaged rectifiers when efficiency is desired or where design complexity is an issue. This device features very low forward voltage drop and increased switching speed with current levels to 150 amps.It is typically used in consumer electronics, UPS (uninterruptible power supply) systems, solar systems, and automotive applications. In addition, the low forward voltage drop means less power loss and improved efficiency requirements.The BYM12-150HE3_A/H is an MOSFET pass rectifier, also known as an HET Rectifier or Half-Bridge Rectifier. This type of device is commonly found in high current rectification applications. It is a combination of a MOSFET, a Schottky diode, and a fast-recovery diode, acting as a three-terminal switch with the MOSFET controlling the device turn-on and off action. The contribution of the Schottky diode is to reduce the amount of power lost due to the forward voltage drop in the overall circuit, while the contribution of the fast-recovery diode is to increase the switching speed of the MOSFET.
