Working Principle
The BYT53G-TR is a single diode rectifier, which is essentially a p-n junction diode, a semiconductor device that has a large number of junctions between a p-type and an n-type material. It allows electron flow in one direction only and blocks current flow in the opposite direction.It is composed of two components – an anode (positive terminal) and a cathode (negative terminal). When the anode voltage is higher than the cathode voltage, the diode is said to be forward-biased. In this state, electrons flow from the anode towards the cathode and current passes through it.
