Working Principle

The BYW51G-200-TR rectifier array works by acting as a barrier between an AC source and a DC load. This barrier blocks the flow of current from the AC source to the DC load in one direction and allows the flow of current in the opposite direction. This allows the AC source to be used in a DC circuit while preventing the AC source from affecting the DC load.The device consists of a series of Schottky barrier rectifiers connected in parallel. A Schottky barrier rectifier is a semiconductor diode that allows a flow of charge carriers (electrons or holes) from one side of a barrier (an interface) to the other.
