The BZX55C47 is a single type Zener diode which belongs to the family of diodes. It is manufactured by Renesas Electronics and is extensively used in many electronic devices and circuits. The working principle of a BZX55C47 Zener Diode is based on the breakdown voltage that exists between two differently-doped semiconductor layers known as the depletion region.
