When used in motor speed control, the C159PB can act as a speed regulator and allow the motor to be variably sped up or slowed down. The C159PB can also be used in over-current protection, limiting the current that flows through the load, as well as preventing potential damage to the circuit.The C159PB employs a unidirectional switching action, and it can also be gated with a logic signal.
