Working Principle

The C6000ALBR-1223W rocker switch is a dual-function rocker switch.The On-Off function is employed in standard mode of operation where the rocker switch is tipped to the On or Off direction and the momentary function which is used in pulse-actuator systems, where the rocker switch is tapped to a certain direction and is automatically released when it is tapped again to the other direction.

The C6000ALBR-1223W rocker switch mechanism works by enabling electrical contacts to close when the rocker switch is pushed down and open when the rocker switch is released. Electrically, each tip position is considered one pole—Up and Down—and the switch is wired with a neutral lead.
