The C8051F300-GSR is an advanced 8-bit, low-cost and low-power microcontroller from Silicon Laboratories. It combines the C8051F300 Mixed-Signal MCU core and the GSR 2.4GHz radio and protocol stack on the same IC, offering an all-in-one solution for wireless applications. This microcontroller is widely used in home automation systems, wireless monitoring, biomedical monitoring and tracking, portable gaming and more. Its highly integrated device, consisting of an 8051 microcontroller core, a GSR radio with stack, and multiple peripherals, enables designers to reduce their development time and cost for wireless product development.

The C8051F300-GSR is based on the 8051 core, which is the world\'s most popular 8-bit microcontroller. It has a 2.4 GHz, 2.4 GHz radio solution with the accompanying GSR protocol stack, which enables support for raw data, text-based broadcasts, and audio streams. The GSR stack supports both the ZigBee and OTA protocols for Wireless monitoring solutions. It also has a 32-bit math engine, LCD controller, touch-sensing interface, 8-bit pulse width modulation (PWM) and up to six serial communication interfaces (SCI) for various device-to-device communication applications.

An important feature of this microcontroller is its low power consumption, making it ideal for low-power applications. The C8051F300-GSR is capable of running at very low voltages, down to 0.9V, which enables it to consume the least amount of energy while ensuring the performance of the device is not compromised.
