The C8051F330-GP is a microcontroller used to provide embedded solutions and power a wide range of applications. Its architecture combines the ability to process complicated tasks with the efficiency to be used in many applications. The 8-bit microcontroller unit (MCU) is composed of up to 32K of Flash Program Memory, 256 bytes of RAM memory, and 4 bytes of bytewide In-System Programmable EEPROM. The C8051F330-GP additionally includes two timers/counters, two 32kHz oscillators, a power-on reset circuit, UART and SPI serial ports, 10-bit A/D converter, up to 25 at-speed I/O lines, watch-dog timer, and a high-speed logic interface.

Working Principle
The C8051F330-GP operates on a single operating voltage level, 1.8V - 5.5V on the supply voltage pin, and can be programmed with a suitable programmer. It uses an 8051 architecture, where each instruction and register is 8-bits wide, and executes all instructions within 1-two clock cycles. The device features two major on-chip oscillators for timing control of program execution, and for baud rate generation. The two on-chip oscillators are a High Speed - Internal Oscillator (HS-I) and a Low Speed - Internal Oscillator (LS-I). The High Speed Internal Oscillator is user-selectable and runs at 24 MHz, and 16 MHz with the option of increasing the frequency through an external clock. The Low Speed Internal Oscillator runs at 32 kHz and is used for low-power applications.
The C8051F330-GP\'s Flash Program Memory can store up to 32K of user program code, along with 32K of Data Memory at 25 Memory Locations, is comprised of a 256-byte RAM, and 4-bytes of bytewide In-System Programmable EEPROM. The peripheral devices available on this controller include two 16-bit Timer/Counters, Watchdog Timer, Dual UARTs, SPI Interface, 8-bit I/O ports, 10-bit A/D Converter, Power-on Reset Circuit and 10-bit Analog Comparator.
The C8051F330-GP also features an interrupt system that automatically services requests from peripherals and responds to program events occurring during normal program execution. Upon recognition of an interrupt, the C8051F330-GP utilizes its On-Chip Interrupt Controller to designate a default vector address from which the interrupt service routine (ISR) is fetched. Three predefined vectors are provided for the three priority levels, two vectors for programmable interrupts, and one vector for global interrupts.
The C8051F330-GP provides all the necessary features for embedded applications and provides the development engineers with a faster and more cost-effective solution. Its versatility makes it suitable for a variety of applications, and its high performance assures quick and reliable results.
