The C8051F989-C-GM microcontroller is a low-power, high-performance 8-bit architecture microcontroller with integrated memory, analog and digital peripherals, as well as a core packet processor. As an embedded microcontroller, it is suitable for a wide range of applications. The working principle of the C8051F989-C-GM microcontroller is based on the 8051 architecture. The 8051 architecture is based on an 8-bit, pipelined processor that can execute instructions in two phases, fetch and execute. During the fetch phase, instructions and data are fetched from the program memory. During the execute phase, the instructions and data are processed and results computed from it.
