CAF94504 antennas are designed primarily for high power application. Constructed from rugged aluminium, they are designed to handle up to 500 Watts and provide a wide band operating frequency range of 150 kHz to 512MHz. With an incredible gain of up to 6.7 dBi, these antennas are ideal for both fixed site or mobile applications such as broadcast, public safety, maritime and other high power communication applications.
CAF94504 antennas offer low loss performance in their operating frequency range with the built-in 50 ohm impedance matching for maximum efficiency. This efficient design provides a relatively low standing wave ratio and minimize reflections for maximum signal level. The antennas are also designed with an integrated radome to protect from harsh weather conditions.
CAF94504 antennas have a horizontal and vertical radiation pattern of 360°, allowing radio signals to be transmitted in all directions along the antenna’s beam width. This ensures that radio signals will reach their intended destination, regardless of the location of the receiving antenna.
These antennas also incorporate ground-plane independent operation for areas with limited ground plane space. This allows them to be mounted on walls, roofs or other flat surfaces such as trucks or vessels.
