The CAT25640LI-G is a low-voltage SRAM manufactured by Texas Instruments, based on the advanced CMOS process. It is widely used in high-density memory applications.

The data register is used to receive the data from the memory, load the data into the memory, as well as store and retrieve the data from the memory.

The power saving feature is enabled by the module control logic and it allows the CAT25640LI-G SRAM to reduce power consumption during idle periods of operation. The Zero Power Standby Mode is enabled when a logic zero is applied to the BYTE# pin, causing the SRAM to enter into a power saving mode. This can reduce the power consumption by as much as 95%.
